Canopies, Walkways and Shelters

One of our specialties here at Skyworks is our line of Canopies, Custom Shelters and Covered Walkways. We fabricate a variety of systems, from simple skin systems over steel structure, to elaborate structural silicone and point supported glass systems.

We can assist with design development, engineering, fabrication and installation of almost anything that can be imagined. Glazing materials include glass, polycarbonate, acrylic and FRP panels. The proper combination of these products can result in safe, strong, economical and attractive products.

Our portfolio includes canopies at The Bravern in Bellevue, Woodland Park Zoo, Point Defiance Zoo, South Seattle Community College, Tacoma Community College and dozens of retail and mixed use projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Custom transit shelters include the Sound Transit Station at Safeco Field, shelters at Totem Lake, Redmond, Tukwila, South Tacoma, Bellingham, Olympia, Newcastle, Portland and as far south as Eugene Oregon.

Covered walkways include The Boeing Museum of Flight Pedestrian Walkway, UW Athletic Facility, Weller Street Bridge, Snohomish County Admin Building and South Puget Sound Community College
